St Helens Holiday Park you can enjoy peace and quiet in truly tranquil surroundings. The park is set in seven acres of well-tended grounds, ripe with damsons, almonds and apples in the summer and always alive with birdsong all year round.
The Isle of Wight has the most favourable climate in the British Isles, and Field Lane is the perfect place in white to enjoy it. Watch a cricket match on the green at St Helens or enjoy sea fishing from nearby Bembridge, and if the kids have energy left enjoy Field Lane's acres of safe car-free playing fields.

Poorly maintained caravans, torn curtains, damp and smelly, dirty bedlinen. Fridge not working properly so had to throw most of the food away and nearly gassed when TRYING to cook, but the oven didnt work properly either! Not the best holiday ever!

We stayed here last year. We had no hot water in the kitchen, the fruit bowl looked like somebody had wiped their nose contents down it, and this was supposed to be clean. The sheets that we had hired had a hole in them. One night the toilet did not stop flushing and when we tried the emergency telephone number they did not answer. All in all a horrible place to stop and we will not be going back.

Dreadful place and in no way 5 star! We were treated appallingly too. In the end, I got my money back, but not without a fight. Isle of Wight's lovely, but Field Lane was scruffy. In fact, our holidaying neighbours scrubbed everywhere inside their holiday home with bleach, something which shouldn't have to be done on holiday!!!
