We are situated just to the north of Skegness and are ideally located, being only a short walk from the quiet north beach. The complex, although easy to access from the A52 Skegness to Ingoldmells road, is located well within its own grounds.Things to do in Skegness

Its a year since our last visit to this park and I have to say that inprovments have been made and are still ongoing, new tiolet/shower block.
The club isnt just bingo , we had a differant act every night and the kids were kept entertained with there own show.Food was good value for the money, the bar staff very friendly ,
I have always found the staff very helpfull and always trying to do there best.
The ground staff work very hard to keep the place neat and tidy.
There is enough here to keep everyone happy and only a short walk to Skeggy Vegas,
We took three caravans and 4 children and all enjoyed the week here.
I hope they continue to keep inproving the park and will pop back next year to see what changes have been made.

Skegness is a resort you will either love or hate, Atypical British seaside town pitched towards the (much) cheaper end of the price spectrum, its not at all highbrow, and NorthShore Holiday centre is not there to break any moulds!
North Shore comprises of owned sited static caravans, rented statics, tourers and the odd motorhome. there are also some wooden tent like "pods" for those wanting to get closer to nature.
There are also chalets or flats for rent which surround the club house area.
Facilities comprise of a reception block, a small shop stocking essentials, a club house, restaurant and kids club. There is a 9 hole pitch and put course, tennis courts, crazy golf course and a couple of playgrounds for the kids. There is also a reasonably well stocked caravan accessories shop on site.
There are a couple of toilet blocks which are reasonably clean and functional though in our experience always had cold wet floors.
The site is secured by barriers which are activated by swipe cards issued (subject to a £5 deposit) on arrival.
Our impressions are as follows:
For caravanners:
The site itself is tidy and clean, good provision of waste bins and conveniently located drinking water points. Waste points are by the toilet blocks.
Some pitches have water, electric and waste points though water is shared between 4 pitches.
Others just have electric or nothing at all dependant upon what you pay for.
The pitch and put course is reasonable, crazy golf is OK though a little worn out, so too are the tennis courts.
Kids play areas are good.
The "pitch and put" club house has entertainment most evenings during the main season, though the quality of acts are somewhat variable.
Bingo is a main attraction with 3 games played each evening.
Prices at the bar are similar to what you would pay anywhere else.
The on site restaurant serves basic dishes, unfortunatley not all of which are excellent, though the prices are not overly expensive.
Many (most) caravaners choose to walk 5 minutes along the road to a CO-OP store for their provisions, and the range in the corner shop reflects the resorts acceptance of this fact.
We took our 11 year old grandaughter with us and she really enjoyed herself, making new friends and taking part in the childrens entertainment.
We ourselves liked the peace and quiet, though not being Bingo people, we found the evenings entertainment a little flat.
However, the vast majority of guests did seem to be very much into Bingo (many even bringing their own personalised "dabbers") so it looks like Northshore does know and caters for its guest type.
We probably wont be going back, not because its not value for money, but because its one of those places that has little to entice you back again if you arn't a Bingo player!

I was very disappointed. I found the security on the site very poor. One reason we chose this site was because dogs are welcome however, the dog walk provided was too small. The final let down was that the water in the showers was far too hot for young children. The only good point was that our children enjoyed the park on site.

Great site. Agree with other reviewer that staff v.helpful, even when the site was packed. Nice grounds mostly.
Heard someone complaining that the pitches were too close together, but once one of the groundsman had showed them they'd parked their car all skewy, they realised they were talking silly.
Anyway, a great site, v.near to Skegness town without being "in it". Kids loved it. Bar nice. Food good. Staff all great and pleasant. Also, fairly priced considering location.
Will be going again.

Returned couple of days ago (August 08), more than happy with the apartment we stayed in at this site. I don't normally write reviews but after the way the staff welcomed us and helped us find our way round Skegness and other areas, I felt I had to say just how nice the holiday was. The apartment we stayed in was up to scratch, and the Club provided good fun for the kids. Easy bus ride or walk to Skegness, plus the site is set back from the main road which makes it quite safe. Would hope to go again next year, but it's a long way from Devon! Thanks North Shore.

Me and my two kids spent a great time there in July 07 (hubbie on business). Spent a week in a chalet and loved everything. Club good food and had entetainment for kids on certain nights. On-site shop slightly more expensive than Tesco but saved us having to drive to the supermarket in busy traffic. The staff, especially the men around the grounds, were lovely.
Can't wait for a return, hopefully with my husband (and kids!) next year.
