Fantastic park - very clean, we'll run, excellent facilities, value for money.
Super bar, restaurant, coffee shop on site.
Lovely clean pool, kids activities and shoos to browse.
We stayed over halloween weekend and we loved the spooky woodland walk - will try and get back for 2014!

Just had a wonderful 5 night holiday on this site and must say how very pleased we are to discover The Plassey. We don’t write many reviews but this one is the exception to that rule. Recommended by friends we booked our stay on one of their fully serviced pitches this included mains electric, mains water and waste, TV and satellite connections (we simply took our own sky box). Upon arrival our first impression was how clean and tidy it appeared, we parked up and registered in what looked like a new or refurbished log cabin reception, the receptionist was really nice and bubbly gave us a welcome pack and arranged for an escort to take us to our pitch. I am pleased to say that their deluxe pitches are quite huge compared to most we have stayed on – pretty good as we have a large twin wheeler, once setup we went for a walk around the site. We found the loo’s and showers which were really spacious, modern and immaculately clean, we passed the indoor swimming pool, games area and shop on our way to the adjoining craft centre, restaurant, coffee shop and garden centre before reaching their golf course and clubhouse, my husband said the golf course is a proper 9 hole course and was in very good condition for the time of year. You could say that we were very impressed with all aspects of this quality site, and it must be the very best site we have stayed on.

Therefore we can not recommend this site enough for either a short term break or longer holiday and it’s suitable for all age groups, fabulous location set in over 250 acres with all the facilities we needed, and all immaculately maintained clean and tidy, staff are great very pleasant, happy and most helpful. The Plassey offers great value for money (especially their mid week offers) and it’s no wonder why they have won so many top awards. See you again soon.

August 2012.

Just had another 5 nights on this site, just as good as our stay in March. Yes, it was busy, and this was expected but didn't seem packed to the brim like some sites we have stayed on. Staff just as happy and really helpfull, facilities 100% super clean and tidy. Indoor swimming pool was excellent, nice and warm and yet again super clean. All grass area's cut short, flower beds and hanging baskets first class. Really relaxed and although busy with kids on holiday after say 10.30 you could hear a pin drop. No rowdy families, a real pleasure. The golf club now serving an excellent range of quality food at sensible prices. Hubby played golf and said it was most enjoyable and the course is in excellent condition.

Craft centre and coffee shop as we remembered it..... lovely.

Once again thanks everyone at Plassey for a wonderful stay.

my mistake i only gave the plassey 3 stars and in fact i would rate this site a lot more for the concervation and hard work by john and his staff in maintaining the site in its natural habitat.

My Partner and i spent a long weekend at The Plassey in September, we had a great time. It is the cleanest camp site we have stayed on. Always someone cleaning the shower/toilet blocks. Staff are very friendly and proffessional, from the first minute we arrived at the site we were met by a member of staff, booked in and escorted to our pitch. The same staff patrolled the site at night, never disturbing holiday makers, i'm sure just checking all was ok. Made you feel safe. Definitely reccomend to my friends and we will be back. Thankyou

Went here in July for the first time with my 8 mth old and 2 year old children. My Husband had to work and Mum was supposed to come with me...ended up just me and kids! The staff could not of been more helpful, they put me in a fantastic spot with other families. Everyone was very helpful. Used the family room for showers etc which was a massive help, just had to pay a small deposit. They are very clean and site is maintained to a high standard. The only thing I would suggest is that the play area has a range for toddlers such as a high back swing instead of the tyre swings they have at present! Younger children didn't have much to play on. Also my toaster broke so could not do toast for breakfast and through the week there was no where on site that opened early for breakfast, the cafe only served T Cakes!! Most families are up early. All in all a good site and would go back again.

We are a couple but usually tour with our handicapped adult son. ( HE LOVES PLASSEY !!!)A very attractive and well maintained site. Have been here many times and it will remain one of our firm favourites. The pitches are well laid out and generously sized. The facilities are first class and are kept spotless at all times. The staff are friendly and helpful. Late night noise is NOT tolerated so a good sleep is guaranteed. You'll need it too because there are loads of things to do/places to go/sights to see both ON the site and OFF it.
Thanks John and ALL your staff. See you again soon

We are a family of 5 and with the 3 children aged between 9 and 15 it is difficult to find a campsite that suits us all, we have owned a caravan for 4 years and bought it with the intention of touring different sites, however after we went to the plassey on recommendation it has spoilt us, we try different sites but find ourselves back at the Plassey. The site is first class, the staff are really friendly and helpful and the scenery is really beautiful. The toilet and shower blocks are first class, and the on site shop is well stocked. It is like a mini village there, you do not need to leave the site, it is a lovely walk around the small shops and boutiques, while our children paint pottery and are well looked after. We have eaten in the restaurant which was first class and also in the golf club where everyone is very friendly. Our children love the fishing lakes on site and the amusements; they have made lots of friends and can’t wait to go back for a spot of golf. We spent bonfire weekend there in November last year and the firework display was fantastic we had a brilliant weekend. We have recommend this site to friends and they keep returning there as we do.

We spent a wonderful week at The Plassey in October. The facilities were second to none, and spotless. The staff responsible for the upkeep of the toilet/shower blocks deserve the utmost praise. We will definitely be back.
