Polstead Country Park is a beautiful Adults Only park situated in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, but within easy reach of plenty of coastal areas, too. The park sits on the edge of a local conservation site and has 60 pitches available, welcoming motorhomes, tents, and touring campers onto site. We are open all year round.

Well behaved dogs are welcome and we have a lovely dog walking lane just off the park. We also welcome caravan rallies and host several events throughout the year; check dates before you book with us if you want to be involved yourself.

Our pitches are conveniently set up with access to electric hook-ups, while Wi-Fi internet is available for all guests to use during their stay. We have an excellent motorhome service point and also provide useful facilities for washing up and chemical waste disposal, while our on-site shop means you can keep stocked up on your essentials without ever having to leave if you don’t wish to do so. Our toilet and shower facilities are modern and have underfloor heating so are always warm and comfortable to use.

The picturesque village of Polstead is found only a mile away from the site, where you’ll find a range of outdoor activities including a fishing pond surrounded by footpaths and cycling trails for everyone to enjoy. Footpaths head out from Polstead and further into the heart of Suffolk, where you’ll find ancient woodland, and several green sites that are open for exploration throughout the year. You can also jump in the car to explore country villages and the churches and other unique examples of architecture that fill them. Dollops Wood is a lovely walk between the park and Polstead and in early May is filled with beautiful bluebells!

The famous port town of Felixstowe is a short drive from our site, and although a major cargo terminal also offers passenger ferry services across to the Netherlands should you wish to explore beyond Suffolk. A drive into Essex is also worth it, with Colchester Zoo one of the most popular in the United Kingdom and the seaside resort of Clacton-on-Sea easy to drive to within the hour.

You can also drive to the northwest and take in the pretty university city of Cambridge, while sticking to the coast offers access to Lowestoft, Norwich, and the famous Norfolk Broads area.

Other local attractions include the quaint villages of Boxford and Kersey, as well as the stunning guild hall and church at Lavenham.
Constable country, including Flatford Mill and Dedham, is within a short drive, as is Long Melford – home to a number of antique shops and the location for TV’s Lovejoy.

My partner and I stumbled across this campsite by mistake. We have just spent a very relaxing week here with our two dogs. Karen and Greg were very helpful and the most kindest people you will ever meet they bent over backwards to make our stay stress free and enjoyable. There are lots of places to visit and all close by we will definitely be staying here again thanks again Karen and Dave

Mt husband and I with chocolate labrador Zak have just returned from a short break at Polstead.Without doubt one of the best sites we have visited.Very well laid out with large pitches and thoughtfully designed planting. The shower/toilet block was one of the nicest and cleanest we have seen.Greg and Karen were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble.A super site in an excellent location, we we will definitely return.
