Pall Mall Caravan Park is a small site found on the west Wales coast on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The park has a number of privately owned static caravans, with selected numbers for sale at various times throughout the year.
In addition, this campsite in Wales welcomes guests with tents, motorhomes and touring caravans. Facilities available here include toilet and shower blocks, and a washing up area, plus serviced pitches with electric hook-ups are available. Pall Mall Caravan Park is open from Easter to October each year.
Although there is no shop, bar or restaurant on-site, these can all be found within a mile of the park, and enable guests to easily stock up on holiday essentials as well as find great local food and drink, giving them a night off cooking and washing up. There are many country pubs nearby, most of which are welcoming to families and serve food throughout the day, ideal whether you've spent a day relaxing on-site or exploring further afield.
With Snowdonia National Park right on the doorstep of this campsite, this is often the natural starting point for guests looking to get out and explore the surroundings. Snowdonia offers a range of things to do for the whole family. Guests can head out into the park themselves and take advantage of the vast open spaces and woodland trails available, while there are also plenty of organised activities and pursuits that take place across the park throughout the year. These range from gentle walking and cycling to pony trekking, while thrill seekers can try abseiling and climbing, too. Guests looking for outdoor but less high energy fun can find plenty of places to enjoy great fishing and golf, too.
A trip to Snowdonia wouldn’t be complete without tackling Mount Snowdon. Tourists can take guided walks up to the summit or make their own way, while for those not wanting to walk the full path there is a train that runs up the mountain, so you can still enjoy the fabulous views without the exertion. There is a café close to the summit so climbers can enjoy refreshments or decide they’d like to wait for other family members to complete the climb while they kick back and relax!
This campsite is in the seaside resort and town of Tywyn, on the Cardigan Bay coast of southern Gwynedd. There's a Narrow Gauge Railway Museum here you might like to visit, as well as spending time on the town's beach.
Welsh motorhome tours, as well as camping and caravan holidays in Wales have been popular for years, and using Pall Mall Caravan Park as your base, there are lots of things to do. Aberystwyth is about an hour's drive down the coast from this campsite and this university town is home to the National Library of Wales. You could also ride the Vale of Rheidol Railway or the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway, visit Aberystwyth Castle or enjoy time on the beach.
Pall Mall Caravan Park is a great location offering access to quiet beaches as well as Snowdonia, and is a lovely place to spend family camping and caravan holidays.

I advise never to stay here, wish i could give less then 1 star. The owners are very rude and have a lot of attitude specially if you write a negative review while on site about your stay so far, they will trace you down and argue and harass you until you leave. We only made a negative review as people who are sited tourers had a party/get together and the noise went on till well over midnight and not respectful of anyone around them or kids trying to get to sleep. When we tried to phone the owners it kept saying service was unavailable so was unable to get in-touch with them. when this was told to the owners they said we needed to get out of ours and leave my children on their own in the caravan to knock them up in the middle of the night to tell them.
When we arrived we was just dumped on the end of a sited field with no electricity, even tho we booked this weeks in advance. for us to have electric they had to run us a cable from the other side of the field which kept going off and they said there is a problem with the electrics on the site. Their excuse was why we was dumped there was; the bottom field was to mucky for us to go on but when i walked my dog down there, there was other caravans and tents on there.
The toilet/shower block was horrible(toilets with no locks on, toilets blocked of poo, no toilet paper, flies flying around in there, had funky smell), the waste disposal was all dirty with dirty mops everywhere, rubbish all by the bins. Also during the day the sited caravans had their radios on really loud, so if your looking for a quiet get away i would not even bother going on this site. Keep well away
