Set in a beautiful location beside the River Lune within the grounds of a manor house, Crook O’Lune Holiday Park has tranquil surroundings and is idyllic, relaxing and peaceful. With easy motorway access and Kirkby Lonsdale, Lancaster, the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District only a stones throw away, you will find Crook O’Lune a perfect holiday location and base to explore these wonderful areas.
The Sunday Times recently described the Crook O'Lune area as beautiful as the Lake District but much more affordable. Crook O’ Lune Holiday Park is a quiet, sleepy park perfectly suited to those wishing to get away from it all or for those that like walking, fishing or cycling.
Surrounded on all sides by some of England's most picturesque landscapes, Crook O’Lune Holiday Park couldn't be blessed with a better or more beautiful location with the nearby River Lune and the two brooks that meander through the park the pace of life really slows down. The quaint village of Caton offers pubs and shops within easy walking distance.
The rugged Lake District stands proud to the north, the dramatic Dales to the east, while the sweeping coastline of Morecambe Bay and the historic city of Lancaster lie to the west and south. On our doorstep you'll find more than enough to inspire culture vultures and thrill-seekers, and if you prefer to put your feet up, what better way than in your own luxurious holiday home?
Just a short drive away, you have the use of the fantastic leisure complex at South Lakeland Leisure Village, a 15 metre indoor heated swimming pool, steam room and a fully-equipped, air conditioned gym (charges apply).

You will find a host of activities and places of interest in the area. The historic city of Lancaster is not to be missed. It boasts some marvellous museums, a castle and the rather spectacular Butterfly House.
The quaint village of Kirkby Lonsdale is a mere 10 minutes away with its famous market which has proved popular for over 100 years. You can also try the beautiful cycle path which follows the River Lune to Lancaster.
Crook O'Lune's unique position means that you are ideally situated to explore the beauty of the Lune Valley. The majestic River Lune winds its way through the Valley and you will find the area is famous for its trout and salmon fishing with a variety of wildlife in abundance.
Quaint village pubs, and tea houses are within walking distance, as is Scarthwaite Manor Hotel which offers bar snacks, lunches and a licensed restaurant for you to
enjoy.

We purchased our Holiday home here at Crook o lune Holiday Park around 6 weeks ago and we can certainly say you wont get a better site anywhere in this area than this one. We love it here. The people you meet on site are extremely friendly. The park is spotless. The sales team and the manager, wardens and staff cant do enough for you. We had a fridge issue and under warranty fitted us a brand new frost free which more than exceeded our expectations. There brilliant. The site fees and rates are very fair as well. Beautiful surroundings and very piecefull. Lancaster 15 mins away. Great Butchers in Hornby. If your looking for a caravan park in a great location and only 5 mins from the motorway then look no further than the Crook o Lune Caravan Park. You wont be dissapointed.
