At the top of the lane is the renowned beauty spot of Woodbury Common - some three thousand acres of unspoilt, open heathland popular with walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. A short walk down the lane, into the village of Woodbury, a traditional green is presided over by the picturesque 13th century church.
