A truly beautiful location on the sea shore of Ryan Bay with its own clubhouse providing delightful surroundings and is perfect for enjoying the scenic beauty of the West Coast of Scotland. An ideal base for walking or a day trip to Ireland.

I stay on this park ,it does not have a swiming pool, but has a beautifull out look to the loch,in the summer time it a lovely place to be, peice an quiet children are quit safe here and can enjoy the park and the playpark, we have a local swiming pool in the town of stranraer.park is a good central place to leave your van,for sight seeing or a visit on ferry to ireland. There is a pub on site if you choose to pay it a visit it has a beer garden out back where you can watch your children play in the play park.

We visited this site after reading the description and were very disapointed to say the least. They advertise a bar/clubhouse but this has been closed since last year, the laundry was also closed, there is no shop and the touring pitches suffer from water drainage problems if it has been raining. We will be giving this site a miss in future.

This is our second visit. Will not be back again. This is a park that is not set up for touring vans. There is nowhere to dispose of toilet waste, they are still using a drain that was for a static van. Provision for drinking water does not exsits other than a hose from a redundant static site. This is such a shame because it is in a lovley position. I also think that the photos provided on this site of childrens play area and swimming pool are misleading because they do not exist at Ryan Bay at this time. How it is listed in the caravan and camping club without the basic waste and water provision is anybodies guess.
