Only about four miles from the coast which is dotted with lovely little bays and beaches ideal for the family. Penbryn, for instance, is perfect for bathing, and Liangranog for swimming and other water sports; the Urdd Centre has a ski slope for those with special needs.
This is a peaceful meadowland site, with a pleasant open feel and views towards the coast and Cardigan Bay and, on a clear day, to Snowdon. Aberaeron is an attractive small town with a pretty harbour, pebbled beach and Regency cottages painted in pastel shades. New Quay is an artist's paradise, a traditional fishing village where fish, lobsters and crab are part of the daily catch. An excellent area for walking along the Heritage Coastal Paths; fishing (sea, coarse and trout) and bird watching including Red Kite.
There are four golf courses nearby, two cheese factories and many local craft centres to explore.
