This well-sheltered site is situated on the edge of a 520 acre country park with a vast range of outdoor sporting activities, and including use of a seven-mile stretch of safe, sandy beach a mile away. You could spend your entire holiday very happily occupied within the country park itself, and for families this may be the ideal site. You can reach the beach by walking or cycling across the park and it's worth the walk for the first glimpse of this silken skein of clean sand. Bird and butterfly watchers will find the area a delight, and there are a whole series of guided walks, 'mountain' walks and nature trails. For the little ones, the miniature railway is charming, and there's an adventure playground too, while for the older children, there's an equestrian centre with riding in the park and a super dry-ski slope and toboggan ride. Parents aren't forgotten either, with a pitch and putt course and sea fishing from the beach.

Lovely park for the first two weeks of our stay. Loads of walks just off site for our dog. About a 15min walk to the beach. Facilities are clean and ample during our stay, max 5 min wait for a shower and only waited twice during our 2 week stay. Once school holidays started we had kids and adults playing football by the van, also on their bikes going the wrong way round the one way system. Very scary to come round a blind bend to see someone on a bike or scooter coming straight for you and they were certainly not sticking to the 5mph limit either. Booking totally out of school holidays next time as not for me. Sure loads of families will love it during school holidays. We all have different priorities when on our holidays.

We are regular visitors to this park. Towing access is easy and the park facilities more than meet the Caravan Club's high standards.
The main draw here is the site's enviable position of being at the entrance to the wonderful Pembrey Country Park and all it's attractions. The Millenium Coastal Path and national cycling network can also be accessed directly from the park. When you are here, apart from to buy supplies, there really is no need to leave by car.

Only stayed two nights at this beautiful park. Wonderful location. Beautifully clean and pretty site. Showers were top class and spotless. Lovely touch was that a Baker and a Milkman delivered around the site every morning. The only downside was the Warden was more interested in displaying the little models of how to park your car and caravan than our needs as DISABLED. We pointed out we needed to be near shower blocks due to disabilities. We were told just to choose our own pitch but no-one pointed out we could have had a disabled pitch. Found one after we had set up the van. Too late as we were only there two nights. That did spoil the break for us. Maybe our fault for not looking. But we will know in future what to ask for as we would definitely go to this pretty site again.
