Level and open to the sun and fresh air, this is an ideal site for family holidays, with excellent facilities and play equipment, and only three-quarters of a mile from a safe bathing beach. The prom at Sutton-on-Sea is traffic free, which makes it pleasant for walking and cycling, and the beach is safe for bathing, clean sand washed by each tide. Excellent facilities. To get a flavour of the Lincolnshire Wolds villages, visit Alford, a pleasant market town with a working windmill and craft centre. For walkers, the County Council has produced a good set of walks leaflets, and if you're a birdwatcher, visit Gibraltar Point.

What can i say about this site other than fantastic wardens are great nothing is too much trouble, even let us book 4 days extra although site said full.
Always a pleasure to visit this part of the coast although we were too early this year for the seals at donny nook, fish and chip van visits weekly don't miss it and great dog walk round the site all this and sutton on sea on the doorstep.

On arriving at Hawthorn Farm, my family and I were pleased to find a relaxing and peaceful retreat set on the edge of Sutton on Sea. The park had the usual facilities CC members come to expect but the play area really caught our three childrens attention! The pitches are level, spacious and the majority are hardstanding.I thought the toilet block could have done with re modernising though but it was functional. The park proved popular with a variety of people staying possibly attracted by the diversity of nearby entertainment:coastal walks. bird watching, cycling not to mention Mablethorpe and Skegness.Although the North Sea breeze was a little chilly, it did little to dispell the warmth and appeal of this site and the wardens who maintain it.
