The site is set amid the Cheviot Hills, with excellent walking and cycling in the immediate area. A footbridge in Branton (1 mile away) takes you over the river to the delightful Breamish Valley. At the National Park Centre at Ingram (open daily, Easter to September) staff will help you plan your stay and the Centre sells maps and guide books and provides free leaflets including the National Park's walks programme, and the Breamish Valley Trail.

Superb, my partners favourite toilets so far!! Nite open site, attractively laid out with various bays. We got to pick your own pitch which is a really nice touch, perhaps because it was quiet. Stunning scenery but beware, Powburn is very small with minimal facilities, be prepared to travel for activities and food. For a quiet, beautiful country retreat you will not find better
