Thousands of acres of sky and buckets of glorious fresh air! Youll never forget our sunrises over the glittering Solway Firth, or walking on the beach at dusk. The Park has been in operation for nearly 35 years and being family-owned, has built up a well-established warm and friendly atmosphere. The leisure complex with its heated indoor pool, Fluvo multi-jet and sauna is a popular venue, together with its coffee bar and afterswim relaxation. Under the same roof is a the sunny Mermaid Bar with its distinctive and unusual Mediterranean design managed by the effervescent Rosmarie. Here we have a wide selection of music and excellent live entertainment plus a constant variety of family activities such as horse racing nights, Kwizoke, Bingo, fashion shows and quizzes.
Facilities:The park is situated next to the championship Southerness Golf Club and there are seven other courses nearby. Leisure Complex with restaurant, pool, sauna and live entertainment. Kids Club during holiday season. Bowlingo, craft shop and arcade on site. 2 minute walk from beach with historic lighthouse and lots of wonderful walks in the area.
The historic Sweetheart Abbey and the old working Corn Mill are set in the picturesque village of new Abbey, close to the costume museum and gardens of Shambellie House. The cottage of John Paul Jones (the local pirate who became the Founder of the American Navy) is close by and well worth a visit

The kids loved it here. A great place to stop over. The whole family had fun. Yes, the facilities are a bit limited but the staff are friendly and helpful. The place had a great buzz. We loved it and will definately be back. Good prices too make it affordable stop over.

Visited the site for a week with the caravan arriving on the Saturday. Saturday night was very noisy with families in tents playing loud music and kids running wild from all over the site. Sunday to Thursday was very good as the site was quiet. Friday, families arrived again, kids left to run wild, appears that they use the bar as a cresh. On awaking the next morning, found the tv aerial had been ripped from its mount and dumped on the floor. Toilets limited, 1 shower/toilet for the males, 2 x showers/toilets for the females, very low to sit down and cramped. Waste water disposal in the elsan point, however it is at waist height and you have to lift the waste container in cramped conditions. Dish wash is one small sink, with hot water tank that has only enough hot water for one bowl full. Also cramped with enough room for one standing at the sink, the other outside the door. If you want a quiet time, visit when the children are at school!
