The peaceful location is attractive enough but the delights of the South Coast, the Glorious Downs and the towns and villages that make this area of England so popular with visitors are all easily accessible.
Elegant Chichester and historic Portsmouth, steeped in maritime history are just a short drive from Sussex Beach. Goodwood, with its world famous festivals of motoring and horse racing are a must visit attraction and there’s even more horseracing at the nearby Fontwell Park. Wildlife Centres, Stately Homes and Castles are all around and the strategic importance of our coastline is apparent with sites commemorating the 2nd World War. And it was just as important in Roman times with antiquities preserved as visitor attractions.
For the more energetic, there are coastal walks, sailing, sea fishing and golf courses in abundance.
