Northwood Caravan & Holiday Park is a small adults only , family run site set in the heart of the Ribble Valley , the official Centre of the Kingdom ! We are an excellent base to explore the scenic surrounding area and everything it offers . Northwood started 15 years ago as a Camping & Caravanning Club Certificated Site . We have extended , improved and developed our small holiday park into a beautiful place to stay .
Holidays and weekends away are for relaxing and enjoying ourselves and with that in mind we can offer you a tranquil rural setting , in harmony with nature but with the advantage of being a 10 minute drive from the M6 motorway.
Wonderful views over Longridge Fell are a lovely sight when you wake up in the morning . Roe deer , pheasants , rabbits and even a heron are also regular visitors .We will do our utmost to ensure you have an enjoyable stay and look forward to welcoming you !
We are in a fantastic location , 10 mins from the M6 and directly off the A59 , to explore the fabulous surrounding countryside including wonderful restaurants, pubs , artisan food producers and fantastic scenery . Highlights include the Forest of Bowland AONB. Clitheroe with its castle , market & food festival . Whalley for the Cistercian Abbey, both offering a fantastic range of independent shops & restaurants.The South Lakes, Dales and Coast are all 45 minute drive.
Dogs are welcome, there are some lovely walks directly from the site including the route to Roman Ribchester following the River Ribble. Others a short drive away include Beacon Fell , Pendle Hill and the Tolkien trail.
