Where a warm welcome awaits you, set on manicured lawns, ornamental trees, hedging, shrubs and colourful flowers create a delightful haven, but the most striking aspect of the site are the views of the Humber Bridge. From the nearby claypits there are view points to admire the feat of engineering, and the new humber bridge visitor centre with awe inspiring detail, is within a short walk.
But the park has more to offer, with the historic town of Barton-upon-Humber a short level walk away with sailing, windsurfing and Pastures fishery a sports centre and pool, golf at Normanby Hall (10 miles), Hull, famous for shipping & 'The Deep' a short drive away, and the cities of York, Leeds, Lincoln, Doncaster and Scunthorpe easily accessible, with the bus stop and train station only a five minute walk from the park.
