Dolgead Hall Caravan Park is a beautiful holiday destination, found in a stunning countryside location close to the popular town of Welshpool, in mid-Wales. As well as having a caravan park that welcomes touring caravans and motorhomes, Dolgead Hall also offers a number of static holiday caravans for sale as well as lodges for hire and sale. The caravan park is closed during January and February and is open the rest of the year, while the lodge park is closed during February.
Guests staying at Dolgead Hall Caravan Park can benefit from a wide range of facilities at the site. The static caravans and lodges are all hooked up to mains electric, water, and satellite television. Wireless internet is available across the park.
A wide range of activities can be enjoyed at the park itself, meaning guests don’t have to travel far in search of fun and adventure. The park has its own beautiful nine hole golf course, which is maintained to a very high standard and offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Once guests have mastered the on-site course they can head out and try one of the several public golf courses available nearby, the nearest being Welshpool Golf Club. So if you like to combine your caravan holidays with golfing holidays, this could be the place for you.
Bowls is a popular activity that is enjoyed by many guests staying at Dolgead Hall, and the community spirit on the site means curious beginners and novices are always as welcome on the green as those that have been visiting and playing for years. The hard tennis court at the park is also popular, and is open throughout the season.
Guests looking to relax at Dolgead Hall are also well catered for. The park sits alongside the River Banwy, and guests are allowed to go fishing in the river during their stay, as well as in the three private fishing pools found within the park. The river is stocked with brown trout by the park owners, while a range of other species are found in the pools.
Elsewhere in the park is a nature trail, with maps provided by the tourist information office on the site, where guests can choose their preferred route and then head out to explore the native wildlife that calls the park and surrounding area home.
Also on the campsite is a children’s play area, ideal for little ones with vast energy reserves to run off, while there is also a range of outdoor gym equipment for Mum and Dad to enjoy a spot of exercise at the same time. Other facilities include a TV lounge, library, and games room.
As well as enjoying access to Welshpool, the west Wales coast and Snowdonia National Park are also a short drive from the site. Many of the beaches on the west coast can be described as hidden gems with amazing views, while Snowdonia offers vast opportunities for fun and adventure whether guests was to enjoy a leisurely walk or are up for the challenge of climbing Snowdon.
Dolgead Hall Caravan Park is a great location for family caravan holidays in Wales, with plenty to do both on-site and in the surrounding area.

This is our second year at Dolgead Hall and we love coming to our caravan at every opportunity. The site is looked after so well and the views are outstanding. Organised events bring everyone together and there is plenty to keep us occupied, games room, golf, bowls, fishing and beautiful walks.

Have owned a caravan at Dolgead for 8 years. Love it. Beautifully maintained site and so peaceful. Philip and Anna the owners are lovely and nothing is to much trouble for them. Take out grandchildren. It's a great place for kids.

What a fabulous site. Had a caravan here for the past six years. The site is beautifully maintained and the owners are always on hand to help with any issues.
If you are looking for peaceful and picturesque surroundings this fits the bill. Tennis, golf, fishing all available on site.
Fantastic for children with a small play area and the huge bonus of a , usually, fairly shallow river running through.
Lovely friendly site ideal with children.

5* All the way.
A perfect, peaceful & beautiful site with idyllic views.
The owners, Philip and Anna along with their children, go all out to make this place a haven to stay. It’s our own little piece of heaven tucked away in the Welsh countryside. Totally dog and children friendly and extremely safe for all.
Cannot recommend highly enough

Get a lawyer to go through the Agreement before you buy a caravan or lodge here. Lots of rules and regs.
