An Oasis for Wildlife...

The Dog and Duck Leisure Parks are a consistent David Bellamy Gold conservation award winner.

Professor David Bellamy says "Britain's parks are bursting with bio-diversity! They are the nation's favourite get-away-from-it-all locations, and also a major point of contact between people and the countryside. They are therefore very important centres of education, and a wonderful place to go and experience wrap-around nature. That's why these awards play an important role in helping parks to keep the green flag flying!".

At the Dog and Duck caravan park we have created mini wildlife sanctuaries by selective planting and careful planned management of meadows for the host of small mammals, insects, butterflies and birds that now inhabit them.

A tranquil haven for both wildlife and our guests!

I thought it was a really nice leasure park, along with Preston park, But I got it very wrong, I nearly spent 42 thousand pounds on a static holiday home, Im so glad I didn't. The new owners are biarst people, I have a minor criminal conviction, namely a a.b.h. , which is spent, And I wasn't aloud to purchase a mobile home outright, because of it. Out of order. Steer clear of these leasure parks, Not good. I understand now, why so many people are selling up and moving away, And why they have so many empty ones for sale..... If the so called gutless owners, or management want to contact me, regarding my truthfull feedback, they can at michaelsimonstreet@hotmail.com

I have own a caravan since 2006. The owners and staff are very welcoming and always happy to help. Riverside walks on your doorstep making the area of tranquil wild space that can be enjoyed by all. Autumn walks through the orchards will find plenty of apples lying around for apple pies for the Winter warmers and making a end to another lovely season at the Dog & Duck.
