We invite you to stay at our tranquil park exclusively for adults/'Grown Ups'. Overbrook is situated on the site of the old railway station (line no longer in use) on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Thornton le Dale in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
The village has a small green with an ancient market cross and stocks. Thornton Beck is a small stream which runs through the village and under the railway property. We have kingfishers, herons, and many ducks in the Beck.

We recently stayed at Overbrook for a week. On arrival we were shown to our pitch by Darren and he ensured that were settled & explained all the facilities. With the caravans, he even assisted to site the caravans, nothing was too much trouble.
An adults only site which is a very quiet site & everyone on site was very friendly.
Situated at the edge of a picturesque village (10 minute walk to centre), convenient for Pickering, Malton, York, Scarborough and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (with regular buses from the village). The village has three pubs (all serving food), four tea shops, a fish & chip shop. Pizzeria, Butchers, Bakers, grocers shop, newsagent, pharmacy and a specialist chocolate shop. What more could you want?
The site has around 50 pitches, - all hard standing with 16A hook-up, of which about half appear to be seasonal.
There is just one toilet and shower block at the site entrance (2 showers in the men’s & 3 in the Ladies, with suit covers to keep clothes dry) all kept very clean & tidy, which could be quite a walk if you’re pitched at the bottom of the site & it’s raining? There is also a lending library, laundry and drying room and good tourist information.
The site also has 3 Wifi extenders & internet can be obtained freely anywhere on the site.
We had a great time and would not hesitate to recommend this site and we certainly will be returning.
