We took our caravan there and found this a lovely little site despite the Cumbrian rain. The couple that run the place were very friendly, welcoming and helpful with their local knowlege. The river that runs alongside the touring pitch field is delightful, and the cleanliness of the toilet and shower facilities was superb. I'd recommend this site to anyone, as well as a visit to the local butchers in the town which is a ten minute walk away
