Elm Cottage Touring Park is a friendly, family-run park for tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans. Located c12 miles from Chester, and close to Delamere Forest and Oulton Park racing circuit. Perfect for exploring the Cheshire countryside.
This is an award winning campsite has immaculately kept grounds and is environmentally friendly too. A warm welcome is guaranteed and he lovely underfloor heated Amenity Block will not disappoint.
There are 35 hgard standing pitches (open all year around) in a two-acre field. These are a mix of fully serviced and regular hard standing pitches.
The camping field opens from Easter to end of Sept an dis suitable for tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans. Out of season the camping field (approx. 6.5-acres) can host organised Rallies, with a barn that's able to seat 80 with basic kitchen facilities.
The Amenity block washrooms have underfloor heating to keep you warm all season and there are disabled facilities. There's a laundry and somewhere to do your washing up, and Wi-Fi is available.
There’s also a motorhome service point, defibralator and tyre infation point.
If you’re visiting Elm Cottage Touring Park you’ll find the Shrewsbury Arms pub just 400 yards down the road, which serves good food. Two other pubs are also within walking distance as well as a range of other pubs and restaurants within a 5 minute drive.
This is also a dog friendly campsite with a dog walking area.
However, that's not all – there is a studio style chalet which can sleep two.
Located just off the A54, Elm Cottage Touring Park is a very accessible campsite, making it a useful base for your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays in Cheshire. It is merely a 10-minute drive from the town of Winsford, where you'll find supermarkets, shops and eateries, perfect for topping up your holiday supplies or having a night off from cooking.
In the opposite direction, Chester is just a 25-minute drive from this campsite and is close to the border with Wales. Again, there is plenty here to keep you busy, entertained, well stocked and well fed.
If you're into motorsport, this is could be a useful campsite to stay at as Oulton Park circuit is only a five-minute drive away, Beeston Castle & Woodland Park 15 minutes away by car, the stunning Tudor house at Little Moreton Hall is about a 40-/45-minute drive away and Lion Salt Works is less than a half hour drive from this site. In short, there are lots of things to do in the local area when pitched at Elm Cottage Touring Park on your camping, motorhome or caravan holidays.
